Target Audience:

Children aged 2-5 years, with the primary goal of learning to ride balance bikes.

Course Objectives:

  • Balance Skill Development: Help children develop self-balance abilities and enhance body control.

  • Riding Skills Learning: Teach basic riding skills including starting, turning, and stopping.

  • Safety Awareness Cultivation: Increase children's awareness of riding safety and teach them how to properly wear safety gear.

  • Confidence Building: Boost children's confidence and courage through successful riding experiences.

  • Social Skills Development: Promote interaction with other children and foster a spirit of teamwork.

Course Content:

Each class lasts for 1 hour.

  1. Basic Riding Skills:

    • Practice getting on and off the bike.

    • Learn to maintain balance and control front-to-back tilting.

  2. Turning Practice:

    • Teach children how to safely turn, using their line of sight to guide direction.

  3. Speed Control:

    • Practice how to accelerate and decelerate, mastering speed control techniques.

  4. Safety Education:

    • Emphasize the importance of safe riding and teach how to properly wear helmets and protective gear.

  5. Games and Challenges:

    • Design fun games and challenges to help children learn through play.

  6. Summary and Feedback:

    • At the end of the class, conduct a summary and allow children to share their experiences and feelings.

Class Location:

Tsuen Wan Bicycle Park / Waterfront Garden (notification will be given before class)

Bicycle and Helmet Equipment:

The fee includes the use of a helmet and balance bike during the class.

Student-Teacher Ratio:

1:4

Fees:

$1200 for 4 classes; $350 per individual class

Schedule:

  • Class A: Wednesday 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

  • Class B: Saturday 1:15 PM - 2:15 PM
